Are there any side effects?
The only reported side effects of lysine include stomach pain and diarrhoea, this was only seen in high doses. For most people lysine is quite safe at recommended doses for up to one year. If applied topically on the skin it is safe in short term use.
Can I take this supplement if on any prescription medication?
Lysine has no known or serous interactions with any drugs.
Can I take this product while pregnant or breastfeeding?
