Reduce Inflammation
Cherries have anti-inflammatory properties that help to improve your well-being and may help relieve everyday aches and pains.
Sleep Soundly
Believe it or not, black cherries contain a number of compounds that may help you sleep, one of which is serotonin. Serotonin is an important chemical in the brain that's responsible for providing you with a sense of well-being. It also has a positive effect on sleep.
Lower Uric Acid Levels
High uric acid causes the symptoms of gout, but the great news is that some evidence suggests that cherries help relieve these symptoms by naturally reducing the uric acid levels in the blood. It’s now suggested that people aim to drink 200 - 450ml of cherry juice daily during gout attacks.
Give Yourself an Antioxidant Boost
Cherries derive their beautiful red hue from flavonoids, a type of phytonutrient. Flavonoids have been shown to have strong antioxidant effects, which may help to explain many of cherries’ health benefits.
Juice is more convenient
With over 1kg worth of cherries in a litre of sweet cherry juice, drinking the juice can be a more convenient way to get your daily cherry hit than buying and eating fresh cherries.
