The Milk thistle in ANCs Liver Care Advanced is standardised to contain 262.5mg of silybin and is also a hepatoprotectant (protects the liver) and supports liver health. Silybin is a flavonolignan isolated from the seeds of milk thistle and is the main active constituent responsible for Milk thistles effects on the liver.
Taraxacum officinale (Dandelion) root extract and Milk thistle have also been traditionally used in Western herbal medicine to help enhance and promote bile secretion and promote bile flow from the liver and support healthy liver function.
